A homeowner in rural Texas was checking his security footage after hearing strange noises late at night, only to find something that has left experts completely baffled. The video, captured by a high-definition night-vision camera, shows a large, shadowy figure moving with a speed and agility that doesn't match any known animal in the region.

Local wildlife experts have reviewed the clip and ruled out bears, mountain lions, or wolves. The creature appears to stand on two legs for a few seconds before disappearing into the thick brush. "The way it moved—it was too fluid, too intelligent," the homeowner stated during a local news interview.
